This program is an inquiry based hands-on science and cultural investigation of Costa Rica. It is an interactive science learning immersion program that investigates important environmental issues like the climate, water quality, agricultural development, endangered species, reforestation, etc. Participants discover important concepts related to biology, earth and environmental science, and the relationship between culture and science.
We are based in the town of Atenas, Costa Rica on two facilities,Town Student Center and the Green Classroom. Located thirty minutes from the International Airport, Atenas is a small, safe town renowned for its beautiful surroundings, central location, and moderate temperatures.
