ATENAS HOMESTAY

Living with a host family:

We will arrange for you to stay with a local family in the beautiful town of Atenas, which will be close to the Center. Daily interaction with a “tico” family will be very important to help you to submerge in the language and culture. These families have been carefully chosen, considering among other things, moral values, warmth, cleanliness and safety.

Atenas A supervisor will be in touch with you and the family as much as needed making sure that both family and student feel comfortable with each other and their environment.

Since classes start Mondays and terminate on Fridays, accommodation days begin on Sunday and terminate on Saturdays. However, additional days can be arranged upon request.

Accommodation with a host family can be arranged for non-students at fair prices. We recommend bringing your personal towels or buying them here. The host family will provide bed linens.

We can also provide furnished apartments for two people, upon request.
