Students will be placed in one of the following levels depending on their Spanish skills. The levels include writing, reading, speaking, pronunciation and composition exercises.
Beginner: In this level you have very little or no knowledge of Spanish, few words in few situations. In this course you will receive introductory Spanish. With this level of Spanish you will be able to communicate basic needs, in places such as: banks, airports, restaurants, asking for directions, etc. Meanwhile, you will be able to learn grammar and conjugations of verbs that will enable you to advance into a higher level of learning Spanish.
Intermediate I and II:
You have a beginner’s knowledge for basic needs, and you will continue to learn vocabulary, pronunciation and structuring using more complex sentences and grammar. Writing and sharing short compositions of different topics, such as: nature, tropics, culture, etc., would help a lot to put into practice the vocabulary you are learning. During the class period you will participate in written or verbal expositions which will give you the chance to compare and improve your level of Spanish language.
Advanced I and II: You have a very good knowledge of the language. You use it with confidence in all but most challenging situations. This is a course that will completely raise your knowledge of grammatical structure and the complexity of sentence structure. Composition as well as discussion of different topics will be allowed.
Program length: You choose the number of weeks or months you want to be in the program.

We can also arrange classes for you by the hour. You may apply for the program without a host family stay. The price would be $11 per hour. The price includes, language books and all daily activities at the Center as well as Spanish classes.
