SPANISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMS

LANGUAGE & CULTURE IMMERSION PROGRAM

The Language and Culture Immersion Program is designed for any individuals and/or groups who are interested in a truly unique opportunity to travel and live in a Spanish-speaking country to improve one’s Spanish language skills and explore the rich culture and diverse tropical environment of Costa Rica. 
Group programs offered year-round and individuals may begin program on the first Monday of each month. 


GROUPS

COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS

Higher education is preparing students to develop the necessary skills for our rapidly changing interdependent globalized society.  Our cultural immersion programs align with these initiatives to encourage and challenge the college and university student to reach new levels of cultural competency and environmental responsibility.  We aim to awaken a curiosity about another language and culture, and motivate one to become a lifelong learner of the Spanish language.

HIGH SCHOOL

Students in high school are ready for non-traditional experiences to challenge their worldviews and become empowered to realize their full potential.  Our immersion programs align with new 21st century educational goals that target cultural competency and environmental responsibility in order to prepare students for meaningful careers and to fully participate in the emerging global society.  We aim to awaken a curiosity about another language and culture and motivate one to become a lifelong learner of the Spanish language.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle school is a unique transitional time into full adolescence.  Students in these ages of 10-14 are ready to explore their environment more intensely and develop more meaningful interpersonal relationships in the community. 

Taking this age group on our cultural immersion program aligns with new 21st century educational goals that are aimed at incorporating cultural competency and environmental responsibility to prepare young people for meaningful careers and to fully participate in the emerging global society.  We aim to awaken a curiosity about another language and culture and motivate one to become a lifelong learner of the Spanish language.

OTHER GROUPS

Our Immersion Programs are ideal for any group of people wanting to take advantage of travelling together to a Spanish-speaking country to improve one’s Spanish language skills and explore the culture and diverse tropical ecosystems of this unique Central American country.  We aim to awaken a curiosity about another language and culture, and motivate one to become a lifelong learner of the Spanish language. 

TEACHERS AND STAFF                                      

Our teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and accredited professionals.  They are dedicated to making your Spanish immersion experience successful and fun!   All of our teachers are required to have a university education as well as experience in teaching Spanish as a second language.
